The Picker

A friend handed me this old 90's board he picked out of the trash.  The original board was 6'6" but I stripped off the glass and re-shaped it down to a 5'5" square tail small wave groveler.  My inspiration was a blend of the Channel Islands Neck Beard and Dumpster Diver.  I glassed on True Ames fins and added a deck patch of 4oz glass along with carbon on the stringer and tail hits.  The board is a bit loose but catches waves easily and is super fun.
