Josh's Reclaimed Redwood Table

My buddy Josh is a vegan commercial airline pilot by day and a skilled rock climbing craftsman by night.  For this coffee table, Josh began with reclaimed redwood boards he found at Heritage Salvage in Petaluma, CA.  The boards came from a local state park outbuilding and Josh turned them into a beautiful piece of functional art!  My favorite part of this project happened a few weeks after it was completed when Josh and his wife heard buzzing coming from inside their table...a few minutes later, Wood Boring Bees came flying out of the table!  Apparently they had been nesting in the wood for some time.  Awesome work Josh!
